Once again Boots in Ruislip have come up tops, saving specs for Ruislip Lions to be able to add to the massive collection across the 105a lions region, that are then sent for onward transportation abroad. These glasses are desperately needed in places where there is little or no access to opticians.
We were amazed at this collection of 903 pairs, including children’s glasses and sunglasses – as you can see, some of us got very excited!
