At our October meeting it was a great privilege to welcome Alia, founder of the Halo Children’s Foundation Charity. She gave us a very interesting and moving talk on how the charity helps children who have suffered through the death of a parent and how they try to support the bereaved families by making new memories.
Halo relies on donations for their outstanding work and Ruislip Lions were able to assist, with a £400 donation following recent collections at Waitrose and the Pinner Summer Fair.
