Ruislip Lions at Eastcote Huse Gardens Picnic June 2018

The horticultural experts in the club had grown a selection of tomato,  sun flower and kale plants for the event. These were eagerly sought by visitors to the gardens who remarked on their high quality.  The club also had a Tombola type game involving winning cuddly toys for younger members of the public.

Ruislip Lions stall at Pinner St Georges Day Celebrations

Ruislip LIons Club were delighted to be invited to participate by the Pinner Rotary club for this years celebrations sponsored by Gibbs Gillespie, on Sunday 23rd April. The “William Tell” crossbow range once again proved very popular with many visitors to the event and their generous support provided a real boost to our charity account which will be used to help local people and Lions charities.

Ruislip Lions Easter Egg Raffle 2018


The Ramada Easter Bonnet picture shows the the drawing of the Lions Easter egg raffle with Easter bonnets worn by some of the ladies who took part. The Easter Eggs have been kindly raffled in many local Pubs and the money raised is used by Ruislip Lions to help charitable causes.

Ruislip Lions fundraising at Ickenham Fest

Ruislip Lions took part in the 2017 Ickenham Fest on a very cold night selling Santa Hats & a Wild Cat tombola game. Lions Peter and Bob seen with a festive hat and a cute cub.

Illria performed “Comedy of Errors in Manor Farm Ruislip

In their 26th open-air touring season, and renowned all over the world for their clarity, quality and ingenuity, Illyria returned to their home-turf: Shakespearean comedy last night.

The money raised by Ruislip Lions who hosted the troupe will support Lions charities

 

Friends of Eastcote House Gardens Summer Picnic

We had a plant stall at the Friends of Eastcote House Gardens Summer picnic in June 2017 and sold a large number of home grown plants.

 

 

 

Our Annual Plant Sale was held on Saturday 6th May 2017 at Ruislip Rugby Club (Car Park), West End Road, Ruislip. There were lots of beautiful bedding plants, healthy and prolific home grown vegetables plants, superb quality shrubs, and hanging baskets.image019
