It is July and once again we have moved into a new Lionistic year, the 40th year of Ruislip Lions Club. We had our Handover evening, where we all enjoyed a barbecue organized by our Social committee and our new President for 2015/2016 is Lion Lynne Kauffman. Thanks to the outgoing President, Lion Arthur for his work during the past year.
The Club held its Annual Plant Sale in May which once again was ahuge success and profits were well in excess of £2,000. At the beginning of June the Club attended Eastcote House Gardens Open Day where they sold remaining plants which raised over £100 and had a Teddy Bear Tombola stall which made £58.00. Our next fund raising event will be at the Medieval Festival in August. Who can earn their place to fund raise in the stocks?
